Greece brought before Court of Justice for failing to respect Community provisions on combined transport

Brussels, 13/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission on Wednesday decided to bring Greece before the Court of Justice for failing to meet the obligations of directive 92/106/EEC on combined transport (OJ L 368 of 17.12.1992). An Austrian combined transport (CT) company made a complaint to the Commission against the Greek authorities, which had refused to allow its lorries to make their final journey as part of a CT operation.
