Judge Lars Bay Larsen and Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston to take oath on 10 January

Luxembourg, 13/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice will welcome the new Danish Judge, Lars Bay Larsen, and the new British Advocate General, Eleanor Sharpston, on 10 January 2006, when they are to take the oath. They replace Claus Gulmann (at the Court since 1991) and Francis Jacobs (since 1988) respectively. Lars Bay Larsen is currently judge of the Danish Supreme Court.
