13/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - A declaration presented by Amalia Sartori (EPP-ED, Italy) has been signed by 370 MEPs from all groups and all Member States calling for the issue of 1 and 2 euro notes. The written declaration, considered as adopted by Parliament, will be forwarded as an institutional message and the official position taken by Parliament, Council and Commission to the European Central Bank and to Member States, Ms Sartori says in a press release.
