ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) transport

NEG - NATIONAL EXPRESS GROUP (turnover of 3.78 billion euros in 2004 with 41000 employees), the biggest passenger transport operator in the UK, has bought its counterpart ALSA (turnover of 401 million euros in 2004 with 2800 employees), the Spanish sector leader, for 670 million euros, including debt coverage.
