Brussels, 10/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Nicholas Burns, US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, is to take part in a special meeting of the North Atlantic Council on Tuesday 11 October. According to American priorities, the meeting will focus on the final status of Kosovo, Afghanistan and the Iranian nuclear programme. After a brief first meeting on Monday, the NAC should also return to the subject of helping Pakistan in the aftermath to Saturday's earthquake.
