10/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Socialist Group of the European Parliament announces the launch of a programme for discussion with Turkish parliamentarians since the opening of EU/Turkey accession talks last Monday. Jan Marinus Wiersma, the group's vice-president, will thus be in Ankara from 11 to 13 October. The Dutch MEP states in a press release: “We want a consistent dialogue in order to monitor and assess progress. We want (…) to decide with our parliamentary colleagues in Turkey...
