14/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Permanent Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) approved, on Friday 10 June, the appointment of Marc Perrin de Brichambault, of France, as secretary general of the organisation for a three year term of office. He will take on his duties on 21 June. Marc Perrin de Brichambault takes over from Jan Kubis of Slovakia, who held the post for six years.
