On 12 April in Strasbourg, an overwhelming majority at the European Parliament adopted the report by British Labour member Glenys Kinnock, Co-President of the ACP/EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, which sets out the EP's position with a view to the summit scheduled for September, in New York, when stock will be taken on meeting the Millennium Development Goals.
