ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

SOCIETE GENERALE has bought EUROBANK, a Polish company specialising in consumer credit. The cost of the operation has not been disclosed, but is said to be more than 150 million EUR. EUROBANK holds a portfolio of over 200 million EUR in amounts outstanding and operates some 113 points of sale.
