Brussels, 28/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - Following a recommendation by written procedure on 24 April from the Commissioner for trade Peter Mandelson (EUROPE 8935 and 8936), the Commission is launching an investigation on 29 April into 9 Chinese textile categories (pullovers, T-shirts, men's trousers, blouses, stockings and socks, women's coats, bras flax or ramie yarn and woven flax fabrics whose import volume on the Community market have gone above the platforms established in the guidelines (EUROPE 8922). The investigation will last a maximum of 60 days.
