The Swiss VICTORINOX group, makers of the famous Swiss army knife, has bought its rival WENGER, which will function as a stand-alone unit within VICTORINOX. Once the operation is concluded, VICTORINOX will have some 1500 employers and an annual turnover estimated at 400 million CHF.
