Russian professional footballers can ask for Community licence based on EC-EC Federation of Russia

Luxembourg, 13/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has produced a ruling in the Simutenkov case which it indicates that the EC Federation of Russia partnership agreement which entered into force on 1 December 1997, allows Russian professional footballers regularly employed by an EU club to obtain a licence for Community licences.
