13/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Community of Chambers of Commerce from the North-South Railway Axis for Rotterdam-Duisburg-Basle-Simplon/Löschberg-Genoa will mount a defence on 18 April in Brussels at the European Parliament of the completion of railway link No. 24 in the Trans-European Networks-Transport (TEN-T). Introduced by Marta Vincenzi MEP(PES, Italy) participants will include Hans-Jörg Drewello from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karlrushe, Victor Schoenmaker from the Port of Rotterdam, Giovanni Novi, from the Genoa port authority, Renato Viable, from Unioncamere Piemonte, and representing the European Commission, Klaus Rudischhauser and Alain Baron.
