Maria Joao Rodrigues launches idea of “toolbox” to “move from purely passive restructuring policy to active or proactive one”

Brussels/Luxembourg, 11/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The British car manufacturer Rover went into administration this weekend, a situation which concerns over 20,000 workers who are not prepared to see “their” company go bankrupt for want of a buyer, as the last possible candidate- China- has apparently got cold feet at the idea of taking it over. This comes as a blow for British Prime Minister Tony Blair, with his election campaign in full swing ahead of the general elections of 5 May....
