11/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission announced on Monday that by 18 April, it should have enough data sent in by the Member States to plan an investigation into the explosion of textiles imports from China and to open an investigation which could see safeguard measures being applied. It has looked into the legal status of the complaint submitted by Euratex on 9 April on 12 products and calling for the immediate launch of safeguard measures.
