DAnuta Hübner and Philippe Maystadt discuss new generation of regional policy programmes

Brussels, 11/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The ever-increasing cooperation between the European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the regional sector was at the centre of discussion on 11 April between Danuta Hübner, the Commissioner for Regional Policy, and Philippe Maystadt, the President of the EIB. Ms Hübner and Mr Maystadt also discussed the possibility of extending this cooperation, notably by helping Member States in preparing major projects and providing micro-credit...
