MEPs slam Commission's kid glove treatment of France and Germany

Brussels, 22/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission's decision to suspend the excess budget proceedings against France and Germany has enraged a number of MEPs, mainly from Germany (see Europe of 15 December, p.12).
