22/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of a number of undertakings belonging to the CBR Group (Germany) by Apax Europe, based in the Channel Islands, and UK company Cinven. The CBR Group is active in the design and wholesale distribution of women's clothing. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
