Commission clears Cytec's acquisition of UCB's Surface Specialties business, subject to conditions

Brussels, 21/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the planned acquisition of UCB's Surface Specialties (Surface Specialties) business by Cytec Industries Inc. (Cytec) of the US. Cytec produces speciality chemicals and materials, including mining and water treatment chemicals, coating chemicals, adhesives and composite materials and building block chemicals.
