Brussels, 21/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - good new for the European Union: despite the poor performances of Italy, Spain, Portugal and Denmark, the EU as a whole is expected to meet, indeed go slightly further than the commitment it made in the Kyoto Protocol to reduce green house gas emissions by 8% between 2008-12, compared to 1990 emission levels.
