21/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Belgian and Luxembourg governments met in Brussels on Tuesday for a joint Council of Ministers, chaired by Belgian prime minister Guy Verhofstadt and Luxembourg prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker, and announced the minting of a joint 2 euro coin in the spring of 2005 featuring both King Albert II of Belgium and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. This two-nation coin will mark a first in the history of the euro. Some 6 million will be minted.
