EU welcomes Iran's nuclear commitment

Brussels, 15/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Sunday the EU welcomed Iran's agreement to suspend most of its uranium enrichment activities, following negotiations with France, Germany and the United Kingdom, which proposed a long term cooperation agreement between the EU/Tehran in exchange (EUROPE 10 November p 7). The commitment announced in a letter to the IAEA focuses on almost all the activities linked to enrichment, stated Iranian negotiator, Hassan Rohani, to the press during the EU...
