08/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - Local European tourist authorities officially inaugurated their network on 28 October in Deauville, France, the CEEP (European Centre of Enterprises with Public Participation) has announced. This network has already been operating informally for several months. The European Union currently has some 16,000 local public enterprises employing 1.1 million and generating 140 billion EUR.
