08/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner (outgoing) for taxation and the internal market, Frits Bolkestein, asserted during a televised debate quoted by AFP that the King of Morocco should speak out on Islamic extremism in order to demonstrate that his country did not want to be seen as an "exporter of assassins". The debate focused on the murder in broad daylight of the Dutch film director Theo van Gogh in Amsterdam. The suspect has dual Dutch-Moroccan nationality.
