ETNO thinks solutions are required in short-term to get strategy back on track

Brussels, 08/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a press statement the European Telecommunications Network Operators (ETNO) welcomed the support given by Heads of State and governments in the EU for revision of the Lisbon strategy. ETNO has warmly welcomed the new Kok report, which underlines the important role of the information and communication technology sectors (ICT) in implementing the Lisbon objectives but regrets the absence of concrete recommendations in this respect.
