Infringement procedures against France for obstructing freedom to provide services for artificial insemination of cows

Brussels, 29/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission decided on 28 October to remind France of its obligation to comply with a judgement delivered by the European Court of Justice in March 2004 requiring it to amend its legislation on medical laboratories (see Europe of 18 March 2004).. If France fails to comply with Community law, the Commission may ask the Court to impose a daily fine.
