Dutch Presidency studies 36 reach impact assessments on industry, health and the environment

Brussels, 29/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The extremely complex nature of the consequences of the EU's REACH legislation for a new chemicals policy was again highlighted this week at a seminar on the impact of the future legislation organised by the Dutch Presidency on 25/27 October. The seminar made progress by paving the way for getting the dossier moving again - it has been on the table at the Council and Parliament for a year now. The Dutch Presidency drew two main conclusions:
