Brussels, 08/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - After having launched consultation procedure at the WTO on Wednesday against European aid to Airbus (an approach immediately followed by a complaint filed by the EU in Geneva against public aid to Boeing: EUROPE OF 7 October, p.13 and yesterday, p.11), the United States announced on Thursday that it would prefer to come to an agreement with the EU on a new bilateral framework agreement for aid to the aeronautics industry rather than pushing WTO...
