Luxembourg, 08/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Court of Justice has ruled against the French general code of taxation (article 552a), which reserves the denomination "gold" for articles of a fineness of 750 parts per thousand (18 carat), and the denomination "gold alloy" for articles of a fineness of 375 or 585 parts per thousand (9 and 14 carat respectively).
