Brussels, 08/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission approved the programme for Poland for restructuring and modernisation of the food sector and rural development for the period 2004-2006. Total public spending devoted to this action amounts to EUR 1.784 billion for the above period. EUR 1.192 billion will be provided by the Community budget (European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, Guidance Section).
