06/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the Council adopted three decisions relating to participation by Switzerland, Norway and Ukraine at the European mission (EUPOL Proxima) in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Experts from these countries will join those of the EU responsible for giving their support to local police forces in the fight against organised crime. The EUPOL Proxima mission was launched on 15 December 2003 for an initial period of one year.
