- Netherlands: the Dutch government announced that it would be floating Amsterdam-Schipol airport on the stock exchange by 2007. However, together with the cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, it will still control 51% of the airport company. The Dutch state currently controls 75% of Schipol, with the rest in the hands of Amsterdam (21.8%) and Rotterdam (2.4%).
