Reasoned opinion on PEP in France

Brussels, 06/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission is expected to decide to send a further reasoned opinion to France on the subject of its personal equity plans (PEP). It considers that the French system is discriminatory towards the member nations of the European Economic Area in so far as there can only be tax deductions for PEPs taken out within the European Union.
