Commission to propose on Wednesday to open trade between EU and Northern Cyprus - Reservations from Greek and Cypriot Commissioners

Brussels, 06/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission is to propose to open direct trade between Northern Cyprus and the European Union, a package of 259 million EUR in aid for 2004-2006, and two measures to facilitate trade between the north and south of the island (EUROPE of 3 July, p.4).
