British insurance company FRIENDS PROVIDENT has merged with ISIS, its subsidiary specialising in asset management, with F&C, the Dutch subsidiary of EUREKO. The amount paid for the deal was £ 378 million and FRIENDS PROVIDENT subsequently becomes the fourth largest assets management company in the United Kingdom, with £ 120 bn of mandated shares as opposed to 36 bn previously.
