Commission wants to make mechanism more flexible for imposing visas on third countries that have a visa requirement for certain EU Member States

Brussels, 06/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is to propose on Wednesday that the mechanism allowing for visas to be imposed on third countries that have a visa requirement for some Member States should be made more flexible. The mechanism first of all concerns, in theory, the United States, which places a visa requirement on nationals of Greece and of all the new Member States except Slovenia. Canada, Australia and New Zealand also have a visa requirement for the new Member...
