Brussels, 04/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission confirmed its intention to commit a further EUR 61.2 million from the European Development Fund in support of efforts by the World Health Organisation to eradicate polio in Africa. The proposal will soon be submitted to the EDF committee for Member State endorsement.
