Bulgaria and Romania conclude several more chapters in membership talks - Bulgaria wants to maintain coupling between its accession process and that of Romania

Brussels, 04/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, Bulgaria closed three more chapters in its accession negotiations: agriculture, regional policy and budget. Thus, it has now completed talks on 29 of the 30 chapters. Bulgaria's Chief Negotiator Meglena Kuneva left no doubt about the fact that the last chapter, competition policy, could also be finalised during the ministerial negotiating session scheduled for 15 June in Luxembourg.
