The French SEB is to buy the American cookware firm ALL-CLAD (turnover of 105 million dollars in 2003) from the Irish tableware group WATERFORD WEDGWOOD, for 250 million dollars. This will allow SEB to achieve an annual turnover of 380 million dollars, instead of 275 million currently.
