Tony Blair hints there could be re-negotiation and new vote if public votes "no" at referendum

Brussels, 22/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, as a spokesperson for the Irish Presidency was saying that the announcement of a referendum in the United Kingdom on a European Constitution did not really change the situation, Tony Blair hinted to the House of Commons that a "no" vote at the referendum could entail re-negotiation of the constitutional treaty and a second referendum (as was the case for Ireland and Denmark).
