14/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Walter Schwimmer, gave a warning on Wednesday in Strasbourg about the decline in democracy in Armenia. He said that he was worried by information about the use of excessive force by the police, arbitrary arrests, including those of members of parliament and violations of freedom of the press.
