Luxembourg, 22/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has just agreed to a £100 million loan for the design and construction of the new 859 bed acute hospital in Romford. The promoter behind the deal is Barking Havering and Redbridge Hospitals NHS Trust. The EIB's contribution is being financed through a back-to-back RPI-linked bond.
