Strasbourg, 13/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday afternoon, the European Commission decided in Strasbourg to initiate proceedings at the Court of Justice on the subject of the Ecofin Council's decision of 25 November 2003. The decision was to suspend procedure begun under the Stability Pact concerning the excessive budgetary deficits of France and Germany.
