John Monks against taking France and Germany to Court of Justice

Brussels, 13/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a letter addressed to Commissioner Pedro Solbes Mira, the Secretary General for the European Confederation of Trade Unions (ETUC) John Monks, asked him to drop legal action against the Ecofin Council for ending excessive deficit procedures against France and Germany over terms set out in the Stability and Growth Pact.
