13/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the debate on the Irish Presidency's programme during the first half of 2004, the president of the GUE/NGL Group, French national Francis Wurtz, called for the extreme gravity of the situation to be taken into account, which leads member States to oppose each other at several levels. He cited four crisis issues: the euro, the procedure before the Court concerning respect of the Stability Pact, the Constitution and future Union financing.
