Brussels, 12/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Asked on Monday by the press about the decision to be taken by the European Commission on Tuesday to present an appeal to the Court of Justice against the decision taken by the Ecofin Council of 25 November to suspend excessive deficit proceedings against France and Germany under the Stability Pact, Commission spokesperson Reijo Kemppinen said that if the Commission were to take such a step, it would doubtless find it "useful" to follow the accelerated...
