Lamy visits India, Bangladesh and Indonesia

Brussels, 12/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - European Commissioner Pascal Lamy is to fly to Asia on Friday for an official visit that will take him to Bangladesh, India and Indonesia until 22 January. Pakistan, where the joint trade policy official initially decided to make a stop, is no longer on the programme of the visit. Discussions should focus on the Doha Development Agenda, mainly agriculture, the Singapore subjects and the high tariff barriers maintained by these countries. They should...
