Commission examines whether it is appropriate to launch "made in the EU" label

Brussels, 12/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Three Directorates General (trade, enterprise and internal market) at the European Commission are currently examining whether it is appropriate to bring in a "made in the EU" label, Arancha Gonzalez, spokesperson for Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy said confirming information given by The Financial Times.
