Tunis, 08/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European countries of the western Mediterranean (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Malta) and members of UAM, the Union of Arab Maghreb (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania) closed their "summit", on 5 December in Tunis, with the adoption of a "charter" reaffirming their commitment to work together in the fight against terrorism, the regulation of migratory fluxes and the reduction of development gaps.
