Strasbourg, 21/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is willing to do everything possible so that the EU/Canada Summit is held as planned on 17 December in Ottawa, a date which the Italian Presidency "has difficulties with" (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.4, on the subject of Silvio Berlusconi's need to present the results of his term of office to the European Parliament the same day). This assurance was made by European Commissioner Antonio Vitorino on Wednesday during the night...
